These terms apply when you buy from nivisto.com. Placing an order means you accept them.

Prices, currency and tax
Prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD) and include postage only where the site says so. If you’re browsing from outside Australia you may see prices converted to your local currency — the AUD price is the one that applies to the sale.
nivisto is not registered for GST. No GST is charged on your order and no GST component is included in the price. You won’t receive a tax invoice, because I’m not entitled to issue one — you’ll get a regular receipt instead.
If you’re shopping from outside Australia, your own country’s import duties and taxes may apply on arrival. Those are yours to pay and they’re not included in what you pay me.
Prices can change. The price that applies is the one shown when you place your order.
Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. It’s accepted when I email you an order confirmation. If I can’t fill an order — the leather colour you chose has run out, or the personalisation isn’t something I can do — I’ll email you and refund you in full.
I may cancel and refund an order where an item was listed at an obviously wrong price, or where I can’t reasonably make what was ordered.
Made to order
Everything is made after you order it, in the leather and thread you selected. Making time is 1–2 weeks. See Shipping & Delivery.
Personalisation
Personalised pieces are stamped with the characters exactly as you type them, up to the character limit shown on the product. Check your spelling — I stamp what’s in the box, and once leather is stamped it can’t be unstamped.
I won’t stamp anything offensive, or anything that infringes someone else’s trade mark or copyright. If you order something like that I’ll email you, and refund you if we can’t agree on an alternative.
Handmade variation
These are handmade objects, not manufactured ones. Small variations in colour, grain, stitch spacing and edge finish are normal and are part of what you’re buying. Product photographs show a representative example, not the exact piece you’ll receive. Screen colour calibration varies, so leather colour on your monitor won’t be an exact match to the hide.
Delivery and risk
Risk passes to you when the parcel is delivered to the address you gave me. Please check the address before you submit your order — I post to what you typed.
Returns
See Returns & Refunds. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, and any part of these terms that tried to would have no effect.
Intellectual property
The designs, photographs and text on this site are mine. Please don’t reproduce them commercially without asking.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia.
Changes
I may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you ordered.
